Readers’ Services Assistant - Lawrence Public Library, Lawrence, KS 2/19 - 7/19

 • Spearheaded ambitious shelf reading project; organized team to count books and cross compare shelf list to catalog
• Frequently read book reviews, book newsletters, and book blogs; stayed abreast of popular  titles across genres
• Planned and executed a successful biannual book club speed dating event for 50 patrons
• Contributed to the library's Facebook and Twitter accounts with up to date library and book news

• Spearheaded magazine and provided editorial direction to four editors and a dozen volunteer readers
