Katie Foster

is a writer, educator, and artist based in Denver, Colorado.

Her writing concerns itself with remarking upon the daily, dreams, notions of home, animals, and what sits just beyond the reach of language.

She has lived her professional life in service of art and literature. Past positions include Bookseller & Big Tent Reading Coordinator at The Raven Bookstore in Lawrence, Kansas, Graduate Student Teacher of Literary Arts at Brown University, and Editorial Intern at BOMB Magazine in Brooklyn.

In 2018, she was awarded the Feldman Prize for Fiction, the Rosmarie Waldrop Prize for Innovative Writing, and the Kim Ann Arstark Memorial Award by the Literary Arts Department at Brown University. She was a 2020 Writing Fellow at A Public Space.
